Visited on a cold wet night in late January. Had no prior knowledge of the place but it looked quite busy as we were walking past. Very enjoyable all round experience. Have already recommended it to friends who live in the area.

Been there on many occasions with colleagues, we have never yet been dissapointed. Their special midweek menus such as posh pies or fish are stunning vfm. This really is hidden gem, in fact I might delete this review in case it gets too busy!

A bit like having lunch in a factory. I do think it could be made a little less industrious. Meal was ok, but nothing exceptional we thought. Perhaps we will visit again - coin in the air

Been walking past the Boot Room for months now and saying that we should try it. Finally got round to eating there as a birthday treat this week. Should have done it ages ago as it was lovely. Excellent food and good wine. Service was good and we didn't feel at all rushed. Only criticisms were that we only got...

My husband mother and father in law and I had lunch at the boot room today. We were extremely impressed and will definately return. We each had three courses starters were the bacon and black pudding salad and the ham hock terrine, mains were the confit duck, sea bream and rump steak. Desserts were the chocolate fondant, raspberry souffle and...

Upon our arrival we were greeted in the bar area and asked whether we'd like a drink in the bar or be taken to our seats. As we were both hungry we opted for the latter. Our table was located at the far end of the restaurant. Although we weren't early (5mins late actually), our table hadn't be fully set...

Welcomed into restaurant by staff, who were attentive throughout the evening. We had starters and main, all of which tasted as good as they looked. We will definitely be back and recommend wholeheartedly.

I came here with a group of friends on a Friday Night and what a night it was. We had never really heard of The Boot Room before looking on Trip Advisor and glad we did so. There are many places to eat in Leicester (all chain brands pushing out the same rubbish) and The Boot Room gets big thumbs...

We turned up, on spec, one very cold saturday night at 5.30 and were relieved to get a table. Although it was early and there were only 2 other couples there the restaurant had a convivial, feel-good, atmosphere. There was a wide choice on offer from either the early bird menu or the specials and we were very happy with...

I, along with my husband and two friends, went to The Boot Room for one of it's 'Posh Pie Nights'; 3 courses for £15.
Always slightly dubious of offers like these, as the quality is sometimes lacking, we were incredibly happy with our meals. The food was all cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious, in particular the Raspberry Souffle that the...
