we called in on our first night in Windermere and the food was excellent and reasonably priced and the service was great in fact we went back the second night of our 2 night stay. we had half crispy duck and this was excellent there was loads and both main courses were superb 10 out of 10

Lovely little place, excellent food! It was a wed night and very busy but we walked in and the lady arranged a table for us. Shame she didn't have more staff to help her as she was doing everything on her own! Well worth the little wait however.

Take away the coloured red and green walls and enjoy the glorious food and sevice . Not the best in decor but allow yourself to enjoy this wonderful food and service an absolute must
