lovely little cafe in a beautiful setting. a nice sunny terrace with views out to sea and across the romney marshes. They serve the most delicious pancakes.

Called in for lunch, will eat here again. My husband chose it, not his usual thing, but what a pleasent surprise. We had a lovely cheese,potato&onion puff pastry pasty,with wedges( definitely not his thing). Really nice food, pleasent staff too.

We frequently visit Rye, and a visit to Rye would be nothing without coffee in Hayden's. On one day of our recent holiday in the town, we also came here to meet some friends for breakfast. The staff are excellent, the food was excellent, AND they were able to provide an interesting gluten free option for our friend.
