We visited the restaurant with family and were surprised at how good it was for its location on London Road. Friendly service and the food was the best Indian we've had whilst living in Brighton. We will become regulars from now on!

Really good authentic South Indian food. As visitors to Brighton, we followed reviews on trip advisor to Easyern Eye and were not disappointed.
The food is certainly different from the Indian restaurants up North which are predominantly Pakistani run. The food didn't contain any overwhelming food colourings and was cooked to perfection, with nice sizeable portions.
The friendly and attentive...

I read the reviews before coming here for the 1st time. Dont let the odd bad one put you off!
I was greeted with a smile and then everything that followed was fragrant and full off flavour! Popadoms where perfect. Not greasy or burnt, then the rice was fluffly and clean then out mains (chiken tikka and lamb dipiosa)(if you...

We first visited this restaurant in February 2013 after spotting it on Tripadvisor and were very impressed with the quality and authenticity of the food served up by chef Murrali.
My partner was born in India and we have been visiting India/Goa for the last 15 years on an annual basis and have also tried a number of "Indian" restaurants...

I've now been to Eastern Eye more times than I can count and have brought lots of friends and family here all of whom have been bowled over by the quality of the food and its value for money. My friends' young son had his first ever dosa here and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and interested.

We had a superb meal at Eastern eye, the service was faultless, even being asked if we would like a gap between courses. I had a coconut and ginger fish curry and my wife had a king prawn dish which was lovely. Best curry we have had for ages! Only downside , position is a little bit off the beaten...

We were not disappointed, please do not expect sparkling brand new fittings, pile carpets, and sexy black uniformed waitress's parading around! This "twinkle in the Brighton...

Went there for Dosa and it was very delicious. The food was served fast and the staff was very friendly. Overall I'd recommend others to dine at this place for great indian food.
We have now been to the Eastern Eye on three occasions and each time we have been blown away by how beautiful the food has been and are so impressed by the enthusiasm the waiting staff have for their food.
This is the best southern Indian food we have eaten outside of India, it not only tastes incredible but the...
