Came here a while back with a group of friends and was very impressed. The food was great value for money, very tasty, well presented and service was excellent. Restaurant was very clean and nicely furbished, however only gave 4 stars for atmosphere as there wasn't many people in there at the time. Defiantly the best Indian restaurant I have...

After reading several great reviews for this restaurant I thought I would return after many years.
The new owners gave a warm welcome and informed us that they had no drinks licence but we could purchase alcohol in the off-licence next door (no corkage charge).
While on my way to the off-licence I had informed a couple who were browsing...

We went to this restaurant after reading reviews on this site, and found it to be a wee bit dissapointing, the food was average, i was dissapointed the lamb was chewy, the bombay aloo was cold, the cold drinks machine by the bar area was noisy, on the plus side the staff were friendly and attentive.
Birthday meal with the girlfriend and couldn't of asked for a better meal! The food was fresh, prepared by professionals and most importantly delicious! Taj india is second to none and is greatly recommended!
We fancied a change from our usual indian take away so we tried Taj India for a little more variety. Arrived 10 minutes earlier than expected, Very friendly and excellent food. Well worth a try.
An absolutely fantastic place wonderful food and overall experience was great. The value for money was good and the very attentive service good as well. There was a very friendly vibe and atmosphere to go along with a vast aray of delicious food Its a must visit restaurant and I would be glad to go again and again!
On a two night family break, looked the Taj up online and had good reviews. Add this to the fact we...

Not your average curry house, food is individually prepared, no ubiquitous brown sauces from a stew pot that all look and taste the same! Uses locally sourced fish and meats with tempting and different flavours. Presentation is excellent and all mains come with rice, naan and vegetables. Prices appear higher than average but once you realise that you don't need...

Four of us had a lovely Indian meal on Wednesday evening. They are waiting for a drinks licence but didn't mind us nipping next door to buy some wine and don't charge corkage.
The menu is vast and something for everyone. Tip; only have 1 rice between 2!
I have eaten Indian food regularly over the years and this is...
