This was our 5th visit to La Provence and we can honestly say that the food gets better and better. The service is efficient and discreet and very friendly. Cannot be beaten for value for money. Highly recommend.

Having lived in Babbacombe for years we have been visiting this excellent little restaurant for a long time. We have celebrated many birthdays and anniverseries there. Becky and Ken make you feel very welcome and the food is second to none. We have moved away from Torquay now but still make the journey back to enjoy the company and cuisine.... More

The restaurant feels very French as soon as you walk in. The service is very good and the food is excellent. I ordered a medium rare steak which came out medium-to-well done but it was so tasty that I did not want it changed, although I did bring it to the waitress’s attention. I would definitely go again.

short review... I didn't go to eat the carpet, to see the view (launderette), for the table mats or cutlery - I went for the food and was soooo pleased I did - the food is just plain excellent.
