This restaurant came highly recommended. Unfortunately, Angela was away so Richard was hosting. He should stay in the kitchen (!) as the "welcome" was very awkward and we felt as though we were intruders. Food pretty good but overpriced and we came away dissatisfied and unhappy, especially as it was my birthday treat. More

What an excellent restaurant this is! Angela and Richard have created a warm, friendly environment with delicious food. Top marks for cooking, presentation and service. It's quite a small space (25 covers), but the tables are separated sufficiently so that one is hardly aware of one's neighbours.
