We had a light lunch here and were slightly underwhelmed after the good reviews here. It was fairly standard fare but nothing particularly wonderful and as it is on a lower level it misses the views (often of the sea) that are available in other places in and around Penzance.

We've ate here 3/4 times now and every time we've left extremely satisfied. The food is of the highest quality and we'd recommend it to anybody who's after some of the best food in Penzance!

I went for my mate 21st birthday and I need to say that we all really enjoyed our meal. Cannot wait to go back and try the cod that they had as an special, hopefully that will be there again!

Booking for this restaurant or going early (we arrived for 6pm) is recommended as it is very popular - with good reason. The staff are friendly and attentive without being overly so and let you enjoy your meal. There was a good range of nibbles, starters, mains (including a variety of fish specials) and desserts. The food arrives promptly after... More

I have visited this restaurant on a number of occassions and have never been diisappointed. A menu whose cuisine is based on Spanish roots often given an inventive twist that brings out the best from quality ingredients. The fish dishes are excellent but on this occasion I had a confit of duck combined with belly pork, butter beans, chorizo contained... More

The Cornish Platter breakfast here is the best breakfast in all of Cornwall! Every time I head to Penzance I try to get in early to treat myself, it's always so incredibly delicious and I love how you get a mini donut with your coffee (although that's only sometimes, once I got a little danish pastry and another time I... We used to eat here often but having been turned away on a Bank holiday weekend in August because they were closing ~ 2pm ~ we won't bother again. How can they justify that in a busy tourist area especially as it was actually 8 minutes before 2pm. I wonder if the boss knew they turned custom away in this... More

I've come here a few times, I haven't enjoyed it quite so much in recent times, and I have noticed that if the restaurant is full they struggle serving you in an anyway decent time. However the food is good, they do a lot of locally sourced food (but that's not unusual in Pz), and it's very pleasant. It can... More

This morning I went to Penzance for the first time for some time. My Son and I wanted refreshment so we were walking up the street and saw this place advertised. The ambience was good when we went in. There was soft music playing and conversation was at a very acceptable level. We ordered tea and toast. This was delivered... More
