Buzzing, vibrant and fun on Saturday evening and our party of 6 received a warm welcome. Service was well paced, thoughtful, professional and complimented the delicious food. Plenty of fresh fish dishes including mussels, shell backed scallops and beautiful see bass. Only criticism was the uninspiring puds - bread & butter pudding, sponge pudding, crème brulee! Visited 2 Fore Street for lunch and were immediately impressed by the clean, fresh, stylish decor. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the restaurat catered for snacks or full luncheon/evening meals. Excellent menu and the quality of the food was exemplary. Really good food and friendly waitress. Small appetite so had two starters instead of mains which left room for delectable sticky toffee and date pudding with toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream. Yummy! More

The food here is second to none. Book ahead because it gets very busy and definately worth making sure you get your table. Lovely views over Mousehole harbour. More
