We arranged Sunday lunch for two as we were visiting the area, and had read the previous Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. Really friendly staff, clean table by the window, the 2 course lunch (1 roast beef & 1 roast pork) was excellent rounded off with lovely puddings. All in all an excellent choice for any visitor to the... More

Visited the Waymarker on a visit to area from Plymouth. After visiting trip advisor. The reviews and pictures looked enticing. The location was so peaceful. Could have spent all day in the area drinking cider. We had a number of dishes including the beef & pork pie, ham and eggs, sausage and mash. We followed it all by a selection... More

In a remote. Part of Cornwall this restaurant was est about three years ago Run by a farmers daughter who knows a good bit about food. Clean well presented set up with large choice menu with a wide range of prices Whilst it is a little remote it is not far from the Gweek seal sanctuary and RNAS Coldrose

We walked through the bluebells at Bosaham woods and then it started to hail in May! As we turned the corner there was the Waymarker. We were warmly welcomed and then given the menu, what a choice, we both chose the fish dish a type of Sole it was delicious and it came with a selection of seasonal vegetables which... More

Waymarker never disappoints. I've visited there twice recently with friends for Sunday lunch having been on several previous occasions for light snacks. The meals were excellent and delicious - particularly the roast beef. The desserts - WOW! The service is always first class and with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble. Unbeatable and one of the best places to... More

What can I say, tried this on a recommendation from a work colleague as having the best Sunday roast. So booked in for today as a treat for the wife. 2 courses for 15 pound. Lovely vegetable soup and crab for starters followed by roast beef and sole, melt in your mouth food. If only I had room for the... More

Made a special effort to travel from St Ives to The Waymarker, relying on my satnav. Arrived on a lovely day and had a very warm welcome from the owner for an evening meal. The menu had a good selection, which made it difficult to choose, as everything looked so nice. The food was well presented and tasted even better,... More

Every vist to Falmouth must include a meal here. Sampled several lunches and cakes but the ultimate has to be Sunday lunch. Lovely slices of beef, gravy like velvet and extra carrots given with a smile. Worth looking for and returning to.

We only went to the Waymarker because our hotel in Falmouth was fully booked for dinner, as were the resaurants which we rang in the town, but the 15 min. plus drive was well worth it. We were made extremely welcome, and the service and food were both excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would recommend this restaurant. Roger... More

Have now been twice to this tucked away restaurant on the Famouth Gweek road now much easier to find thanks to new signeage. Both times the welcome from owners and staff has been warm and the food is as good as any that you can get in Cornwall - at least I have not tasted better and the presentation is... More
