A very attractive position on the road from Penrhyn to Gweek. Always a very friendly reception, catering good with locally sourced food. Also WiFi is available which can be useful when on holiday. We always try to visit when in the area. More

For all those who don't know this place is on your door step, look it up. I've been a few times now and I've never been disappointed. Fresh home made food, personal service and the most beautiful views and quiet surroundings. The waymarker is a bit off the beaten track but is worth the drive. Head up there for daily... More

Found by accident whilst visiting a nearby garden centre and what a happy accident. Had the cream tea which included a smoked salmon sandwich. The addition of cinnamon to the fruit scone was inspired. Great service without being overbearing, clean and spacious toilets, overall a really, really pleasant experience - will be returning. More

I have yet to be dissappointed with this gem. Off the beaten track ... yes. But always worth the trip and actually one of it's charms. The food is always scrummy with lovely homemade quiches, soups and salads and the coffee perfect. I only wish I had more than one day off a week to treat myself More

The title says it all. Recently found The Waymarker whilst looking for a 'proper cream tea'. It really did not disappoint me (and im fussy). Set in a lovely location, ideal to walk off all that naughty food, Owner Rhiannon is extremely friendly and welcoming. Been many times since finding The Waymarker a few weeks ago and Rhiannon and her... More

The meat and vegetables were so tasty it was seventh heaven. We hope to join them soon for one of the special supper... More

I chose this restaurant on the strength of the reviews on tripadvisor and I wasn't disappointed. However, I should have checked the location of the restaurant before I booked as my little map on my phone advised me it was 2.5 hours walk away! We did set off to try and walk it and we past nice countryside, but we... More

We were looking for a country pub on Easter Sunday and followed the signs for the Waymarker having failed to see any pubs. We were not disappointed. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming. We decided to stay for Sunday lunch and all three courses were absolutely amazing. I also had the best chocolate bread and butter pudding I... More
