very good food and select menu; wine offerrings are very good as well. For Magog it's a little pricey but well-worth the money for the food and ambience.
We ate here on a busy Bank Holiday but the service was excellent and the food delicious. For our mains we both had fillet of bison steak in a lovely sauce - absolutely delicious. The Table d'Hote menu gives soup/salad, a starter and a main plus coffee. Good value. Lovely to have French style food and service after two weeks... More
Two years ago I would have written a stellar review for this restaurant - unfortunately that's not going to happen this time around. Two years ago we were blown away by the tasting menu that was served with a specially selected wine for each course, and each course was a culinary delight. However unfortunately they no longer offer a tasting... More
We had lunch here under the awning near the Main Street. It was pleasant as the weather was very nice. The server greeted us and immediately seated us. Within a few minutes she had taken our drink orders and explained the menu specials. The food was very fresh and loaded with taste. The burgers are quite large so make sure... More
We had sunday brunch here today. The food wine and service were all very good. We drove 1.5 hours from Montreal and its worth it. Highly recommended.
He is inventive and has lured us to become faithful customers. You never get bored, because every visit introduces you to something new you never heard about anywhere else. The restaurant is not the prettiest I have ever seen, Magog main street, supermarket in the rear end, but you see the cook doing his excellent dedicated work. And the wine... More
We always enjoy going to the Eastern Townships at the end of the summer... every year we try a few restaurants and it was our first time at Pinocchio. We now regret the fact that we didn't try it before, because it was by far the most pleasant night we had in a long time. I registered on TripAdvisor only... More
We were a bit disappointed for the food, average as it was very salty for one plate (sea scallops paella plate), the tartare was good but not as exceptional as we were told, this would be, we had that plate before at 2 different places where the preparation was in front of you and exceptional well presented and as well... Often walked past this restaurant in the middle of the main street and expected it to be a tourist trap. Was therefore very pleasantly surprised by the experience. Staff all friendly and delightful - happy to help out with my awful attempts at French. Plenty of choice on the menu and every item we had was cooked to perfection. Presentation,... More
Came as a couple on a Friday night in late summer. Got the last table on the terrace. Great view of the lively street scene. The food was very good and the service friendly and efficient. Recommended.
