Everything is made on site from scratch. Including fresh baked bread in four varieties. The value and portions are unbeatable. Friendly service from the sisters and chef. I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for all day breakfast or lunch.

Agree with all the reviews. Tried out this place due to the great reviews and was not disappointed. Fabulous burger with a homemade bun. We came near the end of the day, so we missed the cookies :(. Plan on returning for breakfast and hopefully a cookie. Atmosphere was calm and warm.

A recent lack of interesting lunch stuff in the house got us to drop into this little spot just off the Alberni Highway for it's "All Day Breakfast". The waitress was attentive and friendly, seated us quickly (although, to be truthful, there were only two other tables being used, being a wee bit passed lunch). Our coffees arrived quickly and... Just outstanding breakfast especially the crepes, it's a must-try. The other entree we got was the ukrainian breakfast which has pierogis, eggs, toast (love the swirl Rye), sausage etc., which was excellent as well. They also made fresh cinnamon buns and giant cookies, I didn't think the cinnamon bun was very good but the cookie had mixed ingredients- M&Ms, raisins,... More

I grew up eating Ukrainian food. Sorry, the Borsch and pyrogies where not great tasting. We waited for service as the server seemed more interested in chatting with non customers. I won't return.

Being one of the only all day breakfast restaurants in the area, I frequently eat here. The food is always outstanding, and almost everything is made in house. The service however, is very poor.

We had heard about this little Cafe and the Ukrainian food it served. It is open for breakfast and lunch only and is frequented by the locals. We both tried the Ukrainian fare and it was really quite good. Service is very friendly and portions are quite large. This is certainly a place where you can get good home cooking.... More
