Decided to stop here for a lunch and weren't disappointed. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Shared a Bento box and some gyoza with my husband. Well worth the drive...and its right across the highway from the fresh seafood market.

The sushi is pretty great here, they some really original rolls worth trying, I recommend the french creek roll. They also have an amazing avocado salad, with some of the best dressing I've ever tried at a Japanese restaurant made with ponzu (a very citrusy sauce) mixed with something else. Its so refreshing when your craving a salad. There seating is...

We love SAM's. Good service, friendly staff. We have tried UDON, Gyoza, sashimi, sushi, and TEMPURA and they are all very good. The Tempura is as good as we have had anywhere. Prices are reasonable too. If you like Japanese food, you will like SAM'S.
Excellent sushi. Simple place with comfy ambiance and good service. Their pinto boxes are my grandson 's favorite!
A 6 minute drive from our Quality Bayside hotel. Small sushi restaurant, good food, prompt service and reasonable price.
Sam use to work at Sushi Ichi and decided to go on his own. he brings the same quality and a few different plates and dishes that are well presented and good value. The surroundings and ambience is pleasant and its another great sushi spot in Parksville
We order take out from Sam's on a fairly regular basis. The food is always good, and the price is right. Will continue to dine here.
sam continues to be the 'sleeper' sushi place, never dry, always with care. We locals are ok with the main stream tourists not yet finding it out! Our westcoast/asian secret.
Excellent sushi, prepared with only the freshest seafood as you might expect in this location. We dine very regularly at Sam's. Have found the quality cosistantly high, week in, week out. The tempura is as good as you will find anywhere, always served piping hot and not at all greasy. The Nigri selection is some what limited but again, the...

I called up and ordered, and my food was available quickly. The service from the chef and server were both friendly and made me feel very welcome. The restaurant is nice,...
