Our 25th wedding anniversary dinner was absolutely stunning! The prix fixe menu had some great choices. The mussels were some of the best I've had including the ones I had in San Francisco! The duck had a beautiful sauce and the skin was crispy and savoury yet sweet. Creme Brule dessert amazing. Creemore craft beer on tap and some great... More

It is a small restaurant that is always busy - recommend a reservation. The food is outstanding is terms of presentation and taste. The menu offers the option of a fixed price menu for $33.00 in the winter menu. Four choices of of appetizer, entree and dessert - high end choices. Would recommend the mushroom pate, mussels as an app,... More

The Stuffed Peasant, is one of the best kept secrets in town; sadly not as secret, as in the past. Trip Advisor is right-on with the top two or three restaurant listings. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy so many first class restaurants. Chef Scott's dedication to providing a wonderfully varied menu with quality local ingredients sets... More

We have been several times and have had nothing but fantastic experiences. Big groups, intimate meals, weekends, mid-week, summer or winter, the Stuffed Peasant hasn't disappointed yet. The menu always has an excellent variety and each meal is top class. Best of all, the portions truly do leave you "stuffed", but in the best possible way. Don't leave without the... More

We are locals and have eaten at The Stuffed Peasant on several occasions. The food is always scrumptious, the portions are very generous and the atmosphere is friendly. A few of my favourite items on the menu include the spinach salad, the duck in a pomegranate sauce and the to-die-for sticky toffee pudding (OMG - it is YUMMY!) The menu... More

We have just returned from a yummy dinner on the architecturally charming Hurontario Street in this comfortable, relaxed, nicely designed storefront restaurant. Fairly priced and creatively prepared with reasonably priced wines we shall return. The homemade desserts were fabulous as was our terrific waitperson Michelle. We SHALL return!

Absolutely the best liver ever eaten. Steak and Frites were special, cooked just right. Duck confit was wonderful. After our great starters of cheeses, mushroom pâté and 1/4 salad, we devoured our main course. Dessert was a tasty finish to an amazing meal. Thanks. Recommend this to anyone and everyone. We will definitely be returning.

We were a group of eight. The menu was such that there was something on it that everyone would eat. The food was good but not as hot as it should have been, especially the frites. The kitchen is an "open" one. The wait staff are very well versed and professional. Overall, a nice experience but we'd only go back... More
