Group of nine friends visited 28th April. From the moment we stepped inside we were treated to excellent service-friendly staff , impressive food of exceptional standard ,and a warm welcoming ambiance with candles and fairy lights.Worthy of the short drive out from Colchester .Thankyou to all concerned for a fabulous evening!

From the friendly greeting to the attentive staff, nice relaxed atmosphere and oustanding food we enjoyed every minute of our easter sunday dining at the fat goose. We all tried a range of starters, mains and deserts and have to say were impressed by the consistantly high standards. Looking forward to coming again.

Probably a little unfair to review a restaurant on it's performance on Mother's day especially as we went for the last sitting.
