Love the location and the atmosphere at the restaurant. Had the tuna tartare for appetizer and it was great, would definitely get again! My friend and I both ordered the daily grilled fish options....I had mahi mahi, and she had the halibut....while they were both prepared just fine, they were not flavorful at all. Maybe the intention was to highlight... More

Ferreira is reliably fabulous. We had black cod with cepe mushrooms after a panko encrusted tuna tartare appetizer. Both were outstanding, with the cod melting in the mouth. The service is low key and friendly. The place is always crowded because the food is so good. The Portuguese vino verde was just right. If you haven't been there, do yourself... More

The food and service are well beyond worldly and the ambience is made for the most special of occasions. I just can't see how they improve on anything. And the wine is phenomenal in all respects particularly the Portuguese version of Icewine.

I always enjoy Ferreira and whenever I am in Montreal I come here. The seafood is excellent and done nicely with no strange spices or odd additions. Always fresh. Service never disappoints and is friendly. The wine is Portuguese and I have made some great discoveries. Reservations necessary because its very popular.

This was our second visit to Ferreira and we weren't disappointed. Our first visit was rushed as we went before a hockey game and although the food was good we didn't feel that we really had time to enjoy the meal. This time we went later in the evening and were very happy with our choices, (black cod and tuna).... More

Great food, great wine list, nice ambiance although very noisy place! Very crowded... But food is good and fast! Great for family and friends, not with children though...

treated ourselves to a wonderful night of seafood, service was amazing, the hostess was eager to recite off the specials and sitting near the glass wall of the kitchen area was so much fun - to see what all was going on with preparing dishes. The seafood dishes were marvellous - not too heavy and with lots of flavour.
