Very good place for breakfast. The baked beans are delicious. If you want to feel like a real Montrealer definitely check this place out!
Not impressed. Plus we had to ask for an extra coffee refill as well as cutlery! The owner/waiter did not seem to be too concerned about service. It had been a while since here last, 4-5 years. Thought we would have a trip down memory lane but the meal did not live up to our anticipation. Beef stew was cold and watery. My hubby had pork hocks. Want a true diner experience without the froo froo and airs? well that's what you get at La Binerie, quaint authentic food, homemade pea or onion soup, great prices and wholesome hearty food...nothing fancy just good grub!

Traditional, tasty and satisfying home-made French Canadian 'comfort' food, for breakfast and lunch. We chose the specialities 'tortiere' (meat pie) and 'pate chinoise' (meat and sweetcorn topped with mashed potato). All food prepared... More
