We always seem to end up at the Olde Angel Inn for a meal when we're in the area? Why? Because the atmosphere epitomizes "Pub" to me. Cozy, common tables where you can pick up conversations with others, or private tables just for you. The selection of draught is excellent. Typical pub fare done quite well. Prices are reasonable.

We went to this pub after a day in a conference. We enjoyed the live band (Wednesday thru the weekend). It was a great place to watch a hockey game.

A pleasant pub, and we enjoyed sharing a Greek salad as well as seafood stuffed mushrooms, and a couple of beers.

We ate lunch there while with a group touring the city. The Reuben sandwich was one of the best I have had in a long time. Portions are quite large! The beer was cold. The service was fast and efficient considering the place was full. Our waitress was friendly and we totally enjoyed the atmosphere. We would absolutely recommend it.

This is a great place to drink. The food is only so-so, but the atmosphere is great. When I'm in NOTL, I generally will stop in here for a beer, just to enjoy the place. Garlic bread is good. I've been here at least a dozen times over the past five years.

We ate dinner at the angel inn tonight, and enjoyed it. The service was quick, not waiting around for meal, drinks or the bill. hubby had meatloaf Wellington, delicious, and I had the burger. Place was packed, and very noisy, for a Monday at 6pm. Prices not as crazy as other restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

First of all, this is a casual, pub like restaurant so don't bother wearing your formal clothes. It was a great counterpart to our fancier dinner at Zee's the next night. Worth a visit. Salmon was to die for. My friends raved about liver. Someone else thoroughly enjoyed mushroom ravioli. Look oou, the place is said to be haunted!!!

Service was terrible considering there were 6 servers standing around doing nothing. Our dinner arrived faster than we were served, very strange. Ambiance and location was great though.
