My friend and I went out for dinner before a night at the ballet. We had the 4 course dinner. It was wonderful. The atmosphere was lovely. I will be going again for a treat to myself.

The restaurant had lots of good reviews, but I found the food to be over-salted and the prices were high for what you got. That said, the overall amount of food you received with the fixed menu was good.
We had a wonderful birthday dining experience with a set menu that catered to our needs. Service was excellent, our waiter was attentive and appeared very knowledgeable about the menu, answering our questions. The food was some of the best we had experienced and could not fault it. We went early in the week and had a lovely table infront...

Not at all the fun-loving atmosphere displayed in their video on their website...quite the opposite...very stuffy. This restaurant would be appropriate for a nice romantic dinner for two as it has the decor/ambiance that would suit that; otherwise, don't go there. Food was OK generally...their prawns were delicious though. Dessert was very dry...either not made properly or old...a little disappointing...

Was my son's birthday who is training to be a chef and he selected Sydney's. We got there and the young, young girl at the door seemed a little shy and not really confident, I like the coat check, nice touch. I love the decor and atmosphere, we sat right beside the large half moon window, very nice. Their whiskey...

I was not impressed. My overall first experience at Sydney's was a let down, this was due to the terrible service that we recieved. We had an older male server, Robert, who seemed to be really behind, unfriendly, and seemed to forget a lot. We waited 20 minutes for water that never came... we finally had to ask somebody else's...

We enjoyed our Dine Out Winnipeg experience with friends! We had a lovely table near the large window overlooking the Forks - ask for one of these tables as it is less nosey with a beautiful view. It was like a winter wonderland! The 3 courses we selected were delicious - Grilled Artisan Salad,, New York Steak and frites and...

I had the pleasure of dining here with colleagues and we were all very impressed with our selections. The price fix menu is very reasonably priced and we could not help comparing what a great value this was compared to if it were located in other Canadian cities. There are many options that made the choices difficult to make. Service...

The restaurant was Crowded and noisy. Awful chairs. Very uncomfortable. The Lamb was superb. Fish not so much. The tiramisu was fabulous. The best ever. Cheesecake ok. Get it in NYC. 5 course course fixed price menu. $55 per person. They insisted we order scallops for $38. Total bill for six $535 Need more words.
While the service and ambiance were terrific, the food was a real letdown. For a high-class restaurant, the menu was surprisingly plain. We had trouble finding selections that were exciting. Each dish was seemingly tasteless, and we had trouble telling them apart. No obvious fresh herbs were used for flavoring. Save your cash and go elsewhere.....
