Great global, yet still authentic and gourmet Indian cuisine. Worth the wait and the price. I've been there 4 times and never a disappointment. Be prepared to taste the appies and your fellow dinner's bowls.

We enjoyed our evening at Vij's. Contrary to what many have said we had no wait the evening during the week that we visited. The lamb popsicles are to die for. A wonderful meal, and glad we were able to visit. Service was exemplary.

On a drizzly Thursday night, we got the last table at 5:45 pm! No reservations but the food is legendary. You must order the brussels sprouts - outstanding! Service was great, food even better! Vij's is a Vancouver institution so come early and come often!

Love this place. From the food to the service to the décor, everything is beyond expectations. Hate the wait at the door, but I guess that's part of the charm. One of my favorite places in BC

To have the taste of good Indian food, you have to be at Vij's. The place is quite clean and cosy. The restaurant opens only at 5:30 and gets filled up so early. I bumped into the Vij's food truck while at a festival and had a great curry and some nice chai. Several people I know also recommended the restaurant so I went there straight before going to my hotel on a trip to Vancouver. Line up early for this experience. Doors open at 5:30 and the outdoor seating area and sidewalk are full of waiting patrons.
