We had intended on going to a different place for dinner only to discover it was closed on Victoria Day. What a stroke of luck because I had pointed out Blue Water as a possible second choice. I love seafood, hoped there were some vegetarian choices for one of my daughters and headed in that direction. Little did we know...

A perfect evening with the freshest seafood, great wine selection, and beautiful surroundings. Our concierge at Hotel l'Hermitage recommended this restaurant to us and we are so glad he did! I will certainly go back if I'm ever in Vancouver again.
We had excellent service and a wonderful dinner on our 25th anniversary. Nice table, great drinks, knowledgeable server, very attentive. Had a few dietary concerns with gluten and dairy and they were able to accommodate. We've dined here before and will definitely be back.
The seafood at this lively restaurant with a warm and pretty interior is utterly divine. The food is so fresh and the preparation is perfection. I loved the inventiveness and the choices. I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience at this gem of a place.
If you are lucky enough to be visiting Vancouver BC and you are a foodie, make sure to go to the Yaletown neighborhood. The Blue Water Cafe & Raw Bar is the top gem among many restaurant gems in this neighborhood. The staff was friendly and knowledeable, the atmosphere elegant but casual and the food, oh the food is phenominal!...

excellent food! excellent service! overall amazing I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. It is a little bit expensive though!
We had a provide room with its own private entrance for a group. The food was excellent and the wine pairing very good. Services started slowly but quickly improved. I would fully recommend this restaurant for a group
ate here and coast for seafood. both were outstanding. blue water was quieter, so i give it the nod for that reason, but both had outstanding food and service.
A large group of use went there in connection with a conference. The food (a limited menu) was very good, the service was excellent for such a large group, and it was a very pleasant place to eat.
