Dress fancy and bring your wallet. You will definitely have a great evening! The food at Coast is very good. We ordered the seafoodplate for two and enjoyed it very much. The fish was great. Unfortunately the vegetables were not the best combination with the fish. As a starter we had the calamari: amazing!! Of couese we got desert: red... More

We made reservations about 5 days in advance for 4 and arrived 20 minutes early. We didn't have to wait for long at all which was unexpected, but then I saw where they were seating us and would have easily waited until the reservation time if this was what you get when you arrive early. They sat us right beside... More

Coast was recommended to us by our hotel receptionist. We took a walk round to check it out. We liked what we saw a lovely trendy restaurant with a heated outside terrace. Everyone had told us not to leave Vancouver without trying Spot Prawns so my husband spoke to Craig checked that they had Spot Prawns & booked a table... More

The greeter was good, our waitress left something to be desired. Food was fantastic, from sushi to their seasonal special of red spotted prawns (the appie, entree and dessert portion was great). Salad was refreshing, the seafood was spot on, cooked perfectly seasoned just enough but not overpowering. The restaurant is busy, try not to get a seat too close... More

Staff is excellent - accomodating and helpful. Food is very good, although in my experience, a little overpriced for the product. In a large group, nobody complained, but nobody raved either.

On a recent trip to Vancouver,we checked out the local fish restaurants on trip advisor and in the local guide books.Coast was rated very highly, however this is our tale. We arrived at around 8pm with no booking and were invited in by a very friendly assistant,we were asked if we wanted to sit outside but when we declined we were... More

We were staying in Vancouver for the night and decided to stop in for some fish and chips.. They don't serve up your run of the mill greasy overfried tiny strips of cheap fish. What came out on our plate was pretty much a nicely battered filet of halibut. We started the meal off with sushi which was some of... More

The Challenge was: the best sushi in the world? Well, we agree! Of all the places we have traveled this was one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed! Starting with the Mission Hills 5 vineyard Pinot Noir, through every course, and on into dessert of Strawberry Mousse Cake. The Iced tea was lightly sweetened and refreshing; the beignet... More

Coast Restaurant is well deserving of it's Trip Advisor high rating. Great service, wonderful menu and ambience. If you like seafood this is the place to go. Definitely in the upper price levels but worth paying the extra. We were staying overnight in Vancouver, leaving the next day for an Alaska cruise, so we wanted somewhere special for dinner with...
