I ordered grilled halibut with 1/2 salad, 1/2 fries, a choice I would make again, it was very good. I've eaten here a number of times and have always been pleased with the food quality and service.

We had the opportunity to visit Salt Spring Island for the first time and loved it! Our last few moments on the island were spent with our daughter’s friend acting as tour guide and she suggested we drive out to Vesuvius Bay for the “Best fish & chips on the island”. Two of us had the fish & chips and...

Didn't have the fish and chips - that might be the problem! Chilly restaurant with great view of the harbour and OK service. Food was OK, but not worth the $$$. Better places to eat on the island. Kitchen closes at 8pm so make sure you get there early.
Yummy Calamari, and the Best Halibut and Chips around. Try the half chips, half caesar salad and you will not be disappointed. For those who do not like fried, the Grilled Halibut is a great option. For wine try the Garry Oaks Pinot Gris. Watch the Ferries come and go. Maybe even see a Sunset.
Like I said before best fish and chips on the Island, and the desserts are to die for, you just have to save room.
Fresh, tasty, crispy, hot, and nourishing. Fish is wonderful and mussels, calamari, pastas fabulous too. Clean and simple restaurant with lovely attentive staff.
Great food and service with a nice view. Fish and chips are the best on the island. Probably best to reserve in advance.
I stop in here for a quick beer or bite whenever I get the chance when catching the Crofton ferry. Service is usually fast and attentive and the fish n' chips are fantastic! Easily in the top 5% of any I've ever had. Fries are freshly made and superb -- slightly greasy in a good way! Remind me of the...

We've enjoyed the fish and chips several times,.. but a couple of times they just haven't been up to par, perhaps re-use of older oil or just over cooking. When its good its very good. Nice atmosphere and with view if you get a good table, good outside seating on a warm day.
We had some excellent fish and chips here. The best I'd had in quite some time. The fish were well battered and crispy, and the chips were hand cut. Great few of the water and the Vesuvius ferry from the outdoor deck. My only small nit-pick from our experience was we had very slow service, but it was quite busy....
