Had a decent meal here but it did not rate the price. Great service though, and certainly nothing wrong with the food, but I've had better for 1/3 the price.

After a long day of hiking, fondue was an excellent choice. The cheeses were delicious and I wanted to eat all of it. Unfortunately I couldn't, because I was so full! I wanted to have the fondue saved for me (because solidified fondue would still be excellent) but the waitress seemed unwilling to find a way to do this. It...

What a nice intimate atmosphere! The staff are exceptional, and the food is delightful. A great way to get together and enjoy dinner with friends.
We had a lovely dinner at the Walliser Stube. We had a table in a room at the back of the restaurant that had a fabulous view of Lake Louise. Be sure and request a table in this room--may only have 10 tables or so. Our service was good as was the food. My husband had the lamb shank and...

The truffle fondue is great and I would order this again and again. The onion soup was also very good. This restaurant is however a bit pricey compared to others in the Hotel and my favourite is the Fairview restaurant. Try to get a table with the view I did not the decor is sophisticated, cosy and a bit clubby.

I can't remember the name of the particular meal but it was a huge block of cheese under a warmer lamp that slowly softens as you scrape away servings - delicious! No one had any problem with us having a drink at the bar before our meal....

Excellent food with a view straight onto the lake. The service was attentive but not fussy. We only had fondue for our yummy dessert but the meals we had were superb.
I am not a fan of restaurants in hotels, but on our last night in Chateau Lake Louise we decided to try The Walliser Stube in the hotel. We could not get a table, as the restaurant was fully booked and so opted to eat at a high, window table in the bar. The bar is casual and quite small...

This is the Chateau's Swiss restaurant. Enjoyed it very much. The entrees were very good, especially the Lamb Shank and Weiner Schnitzel. Next time will try the cheese fondue. Manager was very accomodating, there was a mixup on our reservation and he made sure we were given a nice table at the windows.
Absolutely amazing restaurant. It started off by our waitress being so kind and polite, acknowledging our honeymoon and offering complimentary drinks. Everything we had for dinner was wonderful, from the cheese fondue, to our entrees. We were so full we couldn't get dessert and had to come back two days later. I promise you won't leave hungry. Cannot wait to...
