Delicious food, we like a menu that you have trouble choosing what you want! The old wooden building and dim lighting while it's snowing outside really creates an atmosphere.The service was lacking from no acknowledgment on arrival, no understanding of the menu to a very uninterested attitude, this is unfortunate.

We ate at Deer Lodge for 4 of the 5 nights that we were in Lake Louise. I wish I was eating there tonight... Highly recommend the Charcuterie Platter, delicious.

Right near the Fairmont on Zlake Louuse, Deer Lodge is like a little hideaway off the beaten track and great for a stay in the mountains. Not full of frills and luxury rooms, but the food is well worth a visit if nothing else.
