We got dropped off here by water taxi and sat right on the beach. It was great getting to look out over the laguna. There was a man who actually was clamming and brought his boat to shore to cook his goods at the restaurant. The shrimp was exactly what I was looking for, but my husband said his fish...

Marlena's right on the beach is an excellent all round restaurant. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and drinks on the beach all day and evening it is a great place to pass the day, eating, drinking and socializing under an umbrella at a table in the sand at the edge of the ocean. I've also been there for...

We met Nino, a very personable young man, who set us up with a perfect patio table overlooking the ocean. The food was wonderful, atmosphere perfect and service impecable!

You have the choice of sitting on the beach, with the sand at your feet, or upstairs in a comfy terrace overlooking the ocean. Great service (ask for Nino) and the food was excellent! It's nice to have such an option for lunch and/or dinner.

We were there on February 21st. Very good food and an amazing view of the sunset. We paid less than 200 pesos per person including appetizer, main course and two rounds of drinks.

Very enjoyable setting with beach/ocean/sunset view; adorable waiters; Marlena -the gorgeous hostess and the best food in town. She has a very extensive menu and everything my friends and I have eaten has been delicious--from goulash to hamburgers to fajaitas to shrimp---and my favorite the chicken parmesan. We just keep returning as the food is consistently wonderful.

Excellent food. First night of reopening after hurricane, so the service was a bit slow, but definitely will go back.

The first time we went to Marlena's, my wife wanted to stop looking and turn around and I insisted on going to a particular building which I recalled was the last spot along the beach - it...

We were a group of 6 and went back twice in a 10 day trip. I think we managed to have everything on the menu between us and enjoyed all of it. Great place to go if you are growing tired of Mexican fare (although they have that too!). Make sure to come early or make a reservation as they...
