Lovely place, ate here several times on a visit to malin head. Fresh seafood, excellently prepared, with great sea view. Staff and owner very friendly people. Very reasonable prices. Particularly enjoyed the monkfish. More

quality seafood, well presented. the monkfish i had was excellent and my husband said the cod he had was perfectly cooked. there was a private party in one section but the other diners were still attended to with prompt individual attention - not something you get very often. my only gripe is that some of the desserts are not made... The crab bisque was one of the best soups I have ever tasted! All the grown-ups ate a different fish dish, on two separate nights, for a total of 6 dishes, and each one was better than the other. Everyone who works here was lovely! More

It would easy being situated in an isolated rural area on the tip of Ireland to use it as an excuse for poor food or service but not the seaview tavern Unique by its remoteness overlooking Malin harbour and exposed to the wild northern Atlantic winds but this was good value, good quality food and great service. I have to... More

The other half and I set out north to see if we'd get lucky and spot the Aurora Borealis. We didn't but we really got lucky with the Seaview. Spectacularly scenic location - even, or maybe especially, in January and excellent seafood and service. We didn't stay in the main house as it was fully booked but in an overflow... More
