Price range: INR167 - INR833
Cuisines: Italian
Dining options: Lunch Spot, Reservations, After-hours
Description: This new restaurant has only been open one month. The owner worked in Atlanta GA, USA with years of experience. I heard it was good but "good" doesn't come close. It is WONDERFUL! It is a small place and if things keep going like they are now, it won't be long before it will be "Reservations Only." Their Osso Bucco is wonderful and they make their own pasta and use mostly organic ingredients and local organic cheeses like buffalo mozzerella. The boneless short ribs are fantastic. Everything is wonderful and the guys are friendly and walk around and talk with everyone. They don't have a liquor license yet, but when they get their wine list active, the place will be the talk of the town! I say this is without a doubt the best new restaurant in San Miguel de Allende and one of the best restaurants in town.

This elegant restaurant poised atop a lovely building just off the Plaza de San Antonio, adjacent to Church of San Antonio was a culinary highlight of my trip in San Miguel Allende. All the dishes were lovingly prepared while we enjoyed a bottle of chilled Chilean Pinot Grigio, viewing the city lights. The salad tasted as if the greens were... More

The place was Jacky's restaurant before, the mgr should have just said that when we asked for directions, easy and simple. If you like rizotto, stay away from that choice there, rice overcooked and mushy, overpriced at 230$ MN ($19) for a rizotto al parmesan appetiser. (definitely not prepared to order) Firstly, recent openings tend to shoot to the top... More

If after a few days you've had all the Mexican food you can take, this small jewel is a good change of pace. It's at the south end of town near the Institute de Allende. It has about 4 tables for 4 on the terrace and 2 tables for 2 as well as inside seating. The terrace is the place... More

Small Italian restaurant with a nice view from the terrace dining area; about a 30 minute walk from the center of town so a bit off the beaten path if staying in the city center. Food and service are good; not exceptional.

Liked the staff and the ambience of the restaurant itself, although the building that houses the restaurant is non-descript. The patio offers views of a charming church and plaza. I thought the menu, which is quite concise, was good but not exceptional. Overall a nice evening, but not one I would put on top of my list if you only... More

It was nice to have a good Italian dinner in Mexico. The place is hidden away but worth finding. Service was excellent....bruschetta was delicious if a tad over garlicky. Snapper over asparagus risotto was delicious. Cleaned the plate! Will return next visit.

I have run out of superlatives re: Firenze as I have been to both locations (earlier on the Ancha and now adjacent to the church) at least a dozen times, but last week: We shared the house salad; she had the pumpkin/squash and I the short rib raviolis. Excellent. They had just received some new wines: The super star was... More

Four of us had dinner at cafe Firenze last night. The food was great! It started with a bit of confusion. When we sat at our table, on the deck with a lovely view of San Antonio church, we were asked about water. There was a bottle of San pelligrino on the table. We asked for bottled water, but our... On a little square, off the beaten path in SMA, this restaurant is worth looking up. We had a table on the upstairs terrace overlooking the square and the Parroquia in the distance. The staff were attentive. The food was to die for. It wasn't the cheapest meal, but not over the top either. I had the gnocchi in an... More
