The place is ok, but not really attractive. The drinks were good, but the food I had, shrimps, was not a total success. Tasteless, very small, more than well done, they were almost hard. Will not recommend this place.

We love Pescau as it was one of the first restaurants we visited upon moving to san Miguel 7 months ago. It continues to be one of our favorites. We love the fish tacos, fish soup, clam chowder and drinks. The bar is one of the most beautiful in town especially at night.

Dropped into Pescau a couple of times mid-afternoon, once a couple of us at the bar, the other a few of us at a table. Had various plates of seafood which we loved. My favourite was the smoked fish. Staff seemed keen. Prices were decent. Love the bright and airy room. I'll certainly go back again.

Perhaps, it can be explained that it was just after thanksgiving but Pescau was sorely disappointing. Noisy, smokey and food was indelible. A curried shrimp and octopus dish lacked any significant curry flavor and was served over mushy rice bathed in an undescribable "cream"sauce. Appetizers and salads fared no better. Drinks were weak and unexciting.
