We asked for the rissotto ... It needed salt ... I asked for parmesano and the waitress never came ... The duck wasn't that good ... Really poor service for this kind of restaurant !!

A beautiful setting, excellent food but indifferent service that blemishes the experience. I asked for more water, my glass was filled but the other three at the table were ignored - emblematic of the evening's attention. We have eaten here twice and both experiences were very good. We first went from the NY Times mention and are glad we did. A nice variety of choices on the menu, typical of upscale restaurant fare in the area, very well prepared.

Chef Donnie Masterton's commitment to using fresh local ingredients to create global comfort food has made The Restaurant my number one place to eat for a consistent 5 years since he opened. Thursday's Burger Night is a must and Wednesday's Pizza Night an then Sunday Brunch.
The cauliflower soup was amazing! The tandoori chicken salad was full of flavour. The beef short ribs equally delicious Service was professional All in all a most enjoyable experience excellent value.

The chef Donny Masterson trained with Joachim Splichal in Los Angeles, so he has all the training needed for a fine dining restaurant. One night we booked a group of friends...
