Located right across from the Mega, this is a nice little restaurant with great seafood. Very friendly service. Menus in English if needed and accepts credit cards. Shrimp with dry chili and garlic was wonderful. Don't miss the shrimp casserole. It is like a thick creator tomato soup with shrimp. Fantastic value with prices half that of 5th avenue. We... More

My mouth is watering just thinking about a healthy dinner! The fresh catch of the day grilled with garlic! Some lobster and soup! Of course Pj will be speaking in Mayan with the team restaurant!

We spent a week in Playa and was told about this place by people staying at our hotel. They said you must try the Cesars salad and Fish tacos. That is exactly what we did and we loved it. They also said the shrimp cocktail was delicious, but we did not have room to try that. We also had a... More

A lovely eatery with a nice view of real Mexican life on the non tourist side of playa del Carmen. Specialising in great sea food and lobster and service with a smile,it's also a great place to have a traditional 'Horchata' (cinnamon infused rice milk) with your meal. Really lovely and a welcome break from tourist fare. I had my... More

This place is not on the popular street but is totally worth the walk, the food's delicious. We had a ceviche and it was one of the best I've tried. Everything we had was just delicious and it's way cheaper than the other restaurants in the fifth ave,

Have eaten there twice in the last two years, seafood is fresh and the steaks are big. The cost is very reasonable and the service is top-notch. Can't wait to go back again next year.

Away from the tourists, across the street from Mega superstore, you will find La Pesca, an excellent local restaurant. We all had fresh seafood, from whole fish, fileted and grilled, to lobster and octopus.. A preparation of bananas flambe finished the excellent evening. Traffic flowed close to us however it was fun to people watch.

The food was okay but I expected more from reading all the reviews. We took a 20 minute walk to get there and felt like we could have had similar food closer to our hotel.

My wife and I visited on April 1st. The ceviche is fantastic, service was great and the prices were very good. It's across from the Mega so it's a bit noisy with bus and taxi traffic but its worth the walk from 5th avenue to make the visit.

I don't miss the chance to enjoy the great fresh catch of the day! Cooked any way you would like, with the best quality Mexican and Mayan ingredients. So delicious, and tasteful! Plus the owner is from a proudly Mayan family. A couple from Miami, Fl.
