Restaurante Tinto, in Cancun, is not located in the busy 'zona hotelera', nor downtown, it is on the other side of the lagoon, close by to the airport. The restaurant is located in the shopping area where Sam's Club and Superama are. Built as a stand alone building much to the same design standards as any American suburban strip center,... More

Good meat and appetizers. So-so service. Prices not commensurate with what you get. But not terrible. More

Fine food and extraordinary wine make Tinto a superior dining choice for weary tourists. Located on Blvd. Luis Donaldo Colosio, aka Airport Blvd., the stand-alone restaurant is found a few miles from the Cancun Airport access road going toward downtown Cancun, in front of Walmart. I wanted a good meal before boarding a long flight back to the United States... More

We had no idea how far from the center of town and the hotel zone Tinto was, but it was totally worth going there. Even thought this is at the edge of a shopping center parking lot and has no view, the restaurant was beautiful with light coming through the wine bottles that are uniquely held horizontally in the high... Recommended by a Mexican friend who lives in Cancun, this place was a little difficult to find, off the beaten tourist track, but TOTALLY worth it. 4 of us went for dinner and each one ordered a different cut of meat. Each one was delicious and cooked to each one of our specific requests (medium rare ... all the way... More

Yes, the restaurant is in the middle of a shopping center parking lot in downtown Cancun. However if you let that put you off, you will miss out on one the of best dining experiences in Cancun. My fiance and I are Americans living in Cancun, and finally decided to try Tinto one Friday night. What a great choice! Although... More

This restaurant is in the middle of a desert parking lot in the middle of the most ugly part of cancun. We came all this way to have a cigar in front of sams club? The food and the place is ok but the same price as eating at porto madera o harrys in front of the lagoon in a... More
