First time there for us on forum folks' recommendation! Excellant food (Grouper), service and loved dining on the pier. They even provided us with a free snifter of tequila after dinner and boxed the rest of our bottle of wine to bring back to the hotel. more

We visited this restaurant for lunch on April 29 (after our Chichen Itza tour got cancelled) and it was fabulous. The settings, quality of food and service were all excellent. J.C. Captain is a fantastic place to dine. It is so romantic and the view is breathtaking. The food is excellent as well. We have visited this place twice now. We discovered it last year after spending our trip at the Hotetur Beach Paradise. J.C. Captain is located directly across the street on the lagoon. I would certainly dine here... more
