This one really lives up to it's reputation. Excellent food and even better service at a very reasonable price!

The food had some clever twists of Mexican classics and I loved sitting and being able watch the Zocalo below. I had a late lunch there and was very pleased. I loved a corn soup I had there.

Having read the recent Trip Advisor reviews, we were not expecting all that much, but since the other so-called top restaurants in the historic center of Mexico City have also received recent poor reviews, we figured we would take a chance. I am glad we did as we were definitely needing a place to kick back after visting the presidential... More

You would definitely miss this place if you didn't read about it beforehand and know exactly where to look. You have to walk through the storefront of a jewelry store then take an elevator to the 6th floor. Once you get there, the only thing impressive is the view of the Zocalo. The food is nothing special, if not lackluster.... More

The food was ok, prices also ok, but I'd like to warn people eating at this restaurant that if paying by credit card, to make sure to keep a copy of the credit card receipt until you are able to compare it to your card statement. This place made an unauthorised charge on my credit card that is higher than... More

As a Mexican living abroad, there's nothing that says "I'm home" as stepping into a restaurant to have those beloved dishes that my heart and palate miss so much...and Puro Corazon's menu did the trick! Flavorful food, excellent prices, and unbeatable view :) The menu is filled with traditional flavors such as huitlacoche, green and red salsa, epazote, and freshly... More

This restaurant is located on the 6th floor of a building that overlooks the Zocalo - the main square in Mexico City. This creates an excellent opportunity to people watch if conversation over dinner is slow. The food was delicious. Portions were smaller than some places, but just the right size for what I was looking for. The food was... More
