The food and atmosphere are assume at the river. My husband's birthday is in November when we visit PV and it always wants his celebration dinner here. We have taken friends and relatives here many times and it is always a hir. The service is the best. More

Last night we went to the River Cafe. A very nice restaurant, with lovely atmosphere. We had a great table by the river. Service was excellent. Cocktails were very good. After coming here for years, we finally tried the weekend buffet and were pleased with the variety of choices, both American and Mexican. The ambiance is wonderful, right next ot the Rio Cuale, and they usually have some kind of live music. A lot of locals come here too, always a good sign. More

This place should have it all. Location, staff and views. But we just found that the food is nicely presented but just ok. It caters to a much older crowd who are either snow birds or fresh off the cruise boat. Great place but just not our scene. More

We ate recently at the River Cafe in PV and it was a great experience. Our waiter was excellent - knowing when to appear but not hovering. The food was amazing. We would always go to the River Cafe in the afternoon for 3 for 1 coctails while the ladies shopped all along the river. They have a fantastic breakfest menu featuring Eggs Benedict. More
