A friend who is from Mazatlan took me to this restaurant. He wanted me to experience something real and something from the past. Setting - It is on the beach. It is not fancy. You can go and be casual and expect to see a lot of locals. Food - It was outstanding. We had various ceviche, we had all... More

La Casta Marinera Restaurant is a MUST dining experience for us every time we are in Mazatlan!! Their Shrimp Pâté is excellent! Their couples Shrimp platter is the best & freshest we have ever had. The staff is excellent, & Charos entertain as you dine.

We've enjoyed this restaurant on every visit since 1998. The breaded shrimp is wonderful, fresh, and tasty. There is live music at times, the dining area overlooks the beach and vendors occasionally sell their wares to folks at the tables closest to the beach but they don't seem to be much of a bother. There is parking available with some... More

We had just flown into Mazatlan, checked in and decided to try this restaurant. Service was excellent and the food was pretty good. I had grilled shrimp and my husband had fried shrimp. Portions were a good size. Probably won't go back just because there are so many great places to eat in Mazatlan. She biggest down side was that... More

Food was OK but seemed a little overpriced for what was served. Noise from the band in the restaurant across the street was a little annoying. We found other restaurants in town we like better so we probably won't go back.

We decided to leave the resort and have some non-resort food. It was recommended to us by one of the locals. The food was great and service was great. We had the cold ceviche platter which had oysters, shrimp, octopus, clam, ceviche and a variety of other things, it was good, but when we saw some of the other grilled... More

We ate here twice. First time, we ordered the seafood platter - Excellent. Second time we tried the red snapper which has been highly recommended by other and again I rate the food as excellent. Plus friendly service and Mariachis providing entertainment. We will definitely be back

Everything was pretty good. Don't know if I would go back. It was a quite night. I may have liked it better if we were there when the shades are up and you can see the ocean.

The food here is delicious, namely the shrimp. My girlfriend and I ordered the coconut shrimp and the cheese stuffed, bacon wrappped shrimp and split them both. The shrimp are giant and taste amazing. We will be returing this year for the food and beautiful ocean view.
