This is a very large well-lighted clean restaurant just of the Main Drag. Not much business the night we ate, but the service was prompt and the food served hot. Full bar, and the Pina Colad was tasty. My wife's Carne Asada was good, as was the Flan for desert. My breaded shrimp was only OK. Sice dishes were average. Mariachis... More

For the past 25 years my wife and I have stopped in at Mariscos Bahia in Ensenada whenever we visit. It is a seafood restaurant made famous because of their fresh fried whole fish lunch plate. The restaurant portion is friendly and very professionally run. The whole fish is prepare and fried in the dining area along with the making... More

You know, I really wanted to like it, because so many locals were there and people speak highly of it. It was fun to eat in the cute sidewalk cafe. Prices were reasonable. But my fish was a little disappointing, compared to my expectations. It wasn't prepared as well as I'd hoped. I would go back if my friends wanted... More

Right in the center of town (not sketchy at all as said above) off the main street of attractions and shops. Try the Lobster Machaca for breakfast. Unbelievable dish. I am a fisherman, and I bring my catch there for them to prepare to my specifications. I visit Ensenada at least twice a year, and always eat here. Clean shop,... More

I shared a ceviche as an appetizer with a friend who knows about such things. He told me it was the best he'd ever had so I should enjoy it because it was unlikely I'd ever find ceviche anywhere else as good as this. Yes, it's raw, marinated fish in citrus and mild spices. But we were all healthy afterwards.Try... More

We have been traveling to Baja for over fifteen years and this is our favorite restaurant in Ensenada. All dishes are delicious but I recommend you try a deep fried whole fish. It comes with a side salad and rice and home made corn tortillas. Their shrimp and fish soups are wonderful as well for a starter, also their shrimp... More

My man and I decided to order 2 mixed seafood soup as entrees, they were delicious but I disliked they had some super little fish bones and that is completely scary on my eyes. Then we ordered some delicious shrimps, 1st a round of Costa Azul style (Wrapped in Bacon) and another round called Coconut, they were both very tasty... More

Very good seafood and attentive service. Well worth the stop. I had the Veracruz style fish and shrimp cocktail. Both very good. Not cheap but a good value with the serving size.

This place is not much to look at, but the food is not only very good, it is also very inexpensive for seafood we know to be expensive. The varieties of dishes, and the varieties of seafood they work with make this place one not to miss.
