The restuarant is right on the beach and is a great place to have a romantic dinner.Food and service are outstanding.Portions are large and prices are fair.
At first when we visited China Beach we noticed it was not crowded so we were able to get an oceanfront window table. After sitting for 10 minutes the manager came over to see if we had ordered yet, we had not even ordered drinks. So she proceeded to get our drink orders and soon after our server came to... More
Best service we experienced on the whole property of The Grand Lucayan. Food was good, try the crab spring rolls- we had two orders. It was extremely overpriced for Chinese food. Our pad Thai had a slight bleach flavor as they most likely use bleach to wipe down the woks. I'd say its worth a try if you don't mind... More
Not impressed at all with this place. My girlfriend and I went and got dinner one night during our stay. She got the hibaci steak and said it was good but nothing special for the price. Expect a $60-70 meal for basically the same type of food as P.F. Changs.
We ate here our first evening at the Grand Lucayan Breakers Cay resort and enjoyed the dining experience. It's more Pacific rim than Chinese. The wonton soup was outstanding though a tad different from what we get in most restaurants in the states. It was served with an elegant gold rimmed liner under it (see photo). I got the pan... More
My wife and I had our first China Beach experience last weekend, and it won't be our last. Excellent food and service, great surroundings. Pu Pu Platter, Crispy duck and spicy stir friend chicken, all piping hot, tremendous flavour and excellent presentation. Good value for money, too. If I could find someone to drive us home afterwards, I'd love to... More
We ate here twice during our recent vacation and it is a good choice for vegetarians. The setting is gorgeous and the people could not be nicer. The first time the waiter did not understand our order so that was disappointing. The manager asked that we try them again and we were glad we did. This time, they loaded up... More
We made reservation in advance. We were seated promptly. Service was timely and waitress was polite. The food was good, but not spectacular. We would have even more impressed if the food was hot (I don't mean spicy). Overall the best place we have eaten in Freeport.
