Excellent dinner served by friendly staff. Very fresh seafood and salads. Tables located at edge of beach facing the water. Be sure to reserve ahead of time as they can get quite busy with boats bringing groups.

We took the Red Sail Catamaran from Safe Haven. The boat trip was great. Easy, enjoyable, friendly. The restaurant food was solid. The table on the beach was special. This would be a great place for water sports and diving in during the day. When...we left, the harbour lights had attracted hundreds of tarpon and a manta ray to the dock. Special!More
Great food. Fantastic mud slides and rum slides but for us it was the service that made our visits so enjoyable every person that helped us had a great attitude they were all very attentive and friendly
Food not that good and service worse. I would go back to Kaibo next time. The place did look nice and is probably good if you are just going for a drink
The Rum Point club has been completely remodeled and has moved very up-scale to say the least! The entire area has a very modern vide, with a huge open air bar area and indoor restaurant called Solis. As of December 2023 the menu for the...bar area and restaurant was the same - which was good for bar food, but only a very limited number of entrees offered. Prices commensurate with the island and amount spent on the remodel! The beach and swimming area are about the same as before.More
Our food and service was excellent. Sabrina our server as well as all other staff went above and beyond expectations. We were told on arrival the kitchen was busy however food was delivered faster than expected, drinks were on our table nearly as soon as...they were ordered. Food was delicious, highly recommend.More
The Rum Point beach area has undergone a major overhaul. Newer sleek facilities, more tables on the terrace. The quaint feel of the picnic tables has been replaced. The menus for both the casual eatery and the higher end restaurant, now called Solis, are the...same. For the higher end place, gone is the nice wine list, conch chowder, etc. Food, good is the pizza, conch coquettes. Nice cocktails. Pretty glasses to hold your beverage. I was undwhelmed by the catch of the day and risotto, too sweet, the lamb shank was a tad fatty.More
Incredible service and amazing atmosphere! We were fully catered to for a fussy six year old; the food and the cocktails were delicious. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we can’t wait to return.
Great lunch and drinks. And, after lunch we were able to use their beach with lounge chairs at no additional charge! Service and amenities were great. Also, a nice gift shop. The only downside was some boats docked just offshore were playing music Very Loudly!
My friends & I went for a long drive to pick up something near north side we decided to drop by at rum point just to see and we found out that the restaurant that was being built before is finally open.So we ended up...having late lunch there. The view is nice, its not too hot.The staffs are very attentive. Not impressed by what we ordered though. I clearly ordered an non-alcoholic Piña Colada not a Colada colada (with alcohol)but the server gave me the colada.I’ve had every Colada on the island but this is definitely the worst. Don’t waste your $12 on the coconut tiramisu. Conch fritters is a must try.More
We spent a few daytime hours in a beach chair under a shade tree gazing out on the turquoise sea. We ventured into the restaurant and ordered the local mudslide drink, a must try!
Casual dining right on the beach! The nonalcoholic drinks were super refreshing. Thoughtful, attentive staff.
My family rented a villa not far from this restaurant while at Cayman Kai / Rum Point area on Grand Cayman. I have never taken the time to leave a review - good or bad. But, had to in this case. We relied on a...couple of restaurants in the area for take our or to eat in because Cayman Kai is 30+ minutes from the commercial area. Opportunity number one missed by this restaurant. We ordered take out jerk chicken and waited for it to be prepared. We were at the mercy of this place and had truly hoped it would be good due to the proximity of other restaurants. This is not even a street food trailer environment. The "cooks" are in a camper and the "grill" was rusted and who knows how old. I get that they are under construction but just do drinks. Not food. Too risky. Our chicken tasted like gasoline and kerosene. We threw our entire $90 US dinner away. I called to talk with management as we were concerned about toxins. Candice was terrific. She escalated and understood our concern - and apologized. Then, we got a call from Jonathan, the "manager." He never apologized for our poor customer experience, and went on to share that they spent hours inspecting "garbage dumpsters" (?) and other food and our claim was invalid. They take this seriously and yet do not even apologize or offer a credit? He said point blank - we find nothing wrong and we are not offering a credit. I couldn't believe it. I am not an avid social media reviewer but did say that based on the fact that he is one of two restaurants on Cayman Kai that we expected some level of good faith effort. It's an affluent area. Jonathan went on to say that he "knew everyone in the area..." and wasn't worried. That would NEVER fly in other areas we have stayed and feel very bad for their brand. Jonathan didn't make the right call and what is $90 bucks to them. I didn't even expect a refund but a good faith apology. I hope if you go to this place, don't expect a great experience from the food team - the bar crew was great, but really poor management. This wouldn't work in many other affluent areas in the U.S. Good luck.More
Shae, one of the servers, made our supper. So much so we came back from West Bay the next day. She is very much a professional and heard we were almost out of gas so made a call for someone to bring some gas. Although...not needed, the offer and effort without asking was so appreciated and very hospitable. She was super kind, very hospitable and we enjoyed the delicious food too! The burger (great buns - fresh) was delightful.More
Pleasant Beach bar with some limited local food options. Subdued music, nice beach and interesting cocktails. Free parking nearby.
