Great French Pastries, little on the pricey side. There is a location on the French side of the Island and one on the Dutch side in the Simpson Bay area.
We have traveled to St. Martin for many years, but have found one constant in breakfast / brunch dining...ZEE BEST! You may not be aware where it is but take the trouble because you will not be disappointed, it's open for breakfast and lunch only (visit the bakery location near the airport for another marvelous experience). Whether you want a... More
Zee Best is opened for breakfast and lunch only. If you go for breakfast, you will be greeted with a basket of delicious french pastries. The almond and the chocolate croissants are "zee best". I have been there several times and have tried the crepes, omelet, and various sandwiches. Have never been disappointed!
If you don't experience Ze Best, well, you miss out on ze best pasties and wonderful breakfast choices from ham and cheese croisant to quiche and crepes and traditional american breakfast choices. The staff is outstanding! Been eating there for 15 years.
Small place with about 15 tables. They put a basket of pastries on the table and you pay for what you eat. Croissants was awesome. I had the eggs / spinach Benedict which was good. My hubby had the french toast which was pretty bad. They make it from their croissants and it was really dense and not good.
Were out looking for a place for breakfast and saw the sign Zee Best breakfast so we decided to stop and try it. They put a basket of 6 fresh pastries on our table and said you only pay for what you eat. We also noticed on the menue "cash only" that wasn't a problem but would be good if... More
We really enjoyed breakfast at Zee Best! There were 5 of us, we liked the vegetarian omlette better than the crepes and the banana crescent french toast was DELICIOUS! Would recommend ZeeBest for a great breakfast!
Stumbled on it one morning and was pleasantly surprised with the food. I'm a big eater-- so I obviously ordered the sweet and the savory crepes in one morning. Well worth the calories! The breakfast crepe was okay (not as delicious as I imagined) but the lemon n sugar crepe was pretty good. The next time I had the cream... More

He may not like what has happened now. The service is not consistent, with little personality and little effort to make the customer feel at home. You... More
A trip to St. Maarten cannot happen without a trip to Zee Best. My husband had an omelet, which was huge and I had a tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella crepe. We definitely recommend Zee Best to anyone visiting St. Maarten.
