When this place just opened it was always crowded but my family and I really enjoy our Teppanyaki!!! The chef made us a great show and even some f my family member participates. It was a great family evening.

Chinese and Japanese items on the extensive menu. The sushi was fresh. The Chinese appetizers and dishes were good as well. They also have a teppanyaki grill. Just like the place we go for sushi at home in NJ. A good change of pace after all of the "local" restaurants.The owner took care of us and was very accommodating.

Came here twice in 5 days at the Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach Reserve. Great Chinese Food and the management is so incredibly accommodating. Loved it. Cold sesame noodles, crispy orange beef -- just like good New York Chinese food.

As a local, I know Sam since the Cerromar's Zen Garden. Chophouse is the overall best oriental restaurant in PR in my opinion. Courteous service, excellent food and a fine yet relaxed family environment. I can't think of just one favorite dish, but I always share a tuna wrap as one of the appetizers. Enjoy!
