I visit Jinya's at least once a month and it is my favorite place to have sushi and other great plates with a Puerto Rican twist. I love to have the tuna with tostones as an appetizer or even as a main course. The rolls are spectacular and the service is always great.

You need a car or cab to get here, it's in a dicey neighborhood. Inside was clean but smelled like disinfectant. Owner's wife was very sweet, owner/sushi chef kept giving us the hairy eyeball (don't know why). We have been going to Jinya´s consistently for the past two years. They have the best tuna avocado salad, pegao rolls, and sushi in general. Do not go for the decor - there is none - but go for the good food with the freshest ingredients!
