This place could almost convert me to a vegetarian. Had the Lentil shepard's pie and it was soo good. The atmosphere is great and the music makes for a great mood.

The bill comes at the end and there is a 17.5% tax added. An extra $10?? You won't find this is other places that offer way more at a reasonable cost. Lackluster staff and food was not great. Sad to see this place go downhill.

There was nothing bad about it though. Service was almost too slow and the food compared to everything we had, average. We went there on Rockhouses guide of favorite places to eat - this being their top choice. Good Pineapple Ginger drink.

We had heard a lot about Hungry Lion, and were surprised to find a somewhat Westernised place on the side of a club/lounge. Nevertheless the food was very tasty, if not a little pricey, and the dinig room was pleasant and buzzing. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend.

The outdoor seating has the best ventilation but its a bit dark. The food was ok - it tasted fine but the portions were not proportional to the price...more rice and less of the curry/vegetables. Higher-end mostly vegetarian restaurant. Cool decor, low lighting, mellow ambiance, nice service. Not strictly carribean - has a bit of an international influence. "California food" is best comparison I can think of.

We were slightly worried when we were the only people in the restaurant at first, but were pleasantly surprised with a delicious vegetarian meal. The drinks were great too. Food and drinks were great. This was probably the most expensive restaurant we ate at so if you're looking to save money, skip this place but it was not unreasonable and we left satisfied. Staff was great. Nice atmosphere
