Wow, what a view! Wish I could say the same about the food. As I write this review, I actually had to think back about what I ordered because it was so unmemorable. Nothing on the menu "jumped" out at me. I had the jerk chicken, and it was edible was kinda cold and not very exciting. My husband had...

This beach was close to our hotel but I didn't like it at all. When you go to Carribean you expect white sand and nice sea. It was OK but there are many other nicer beaches on Curacao.
My husband suggested we try this place one night - he knew it was close to the Marriott and warned me that it seemed like it might be more of a 'dive bar' from the reviews he had ready, but we were just looking for a casual dinner so we decided to try it out. We were so pleasantly surprised...

We ate here twice while staying at the Marriott. It was within walking distance. This is what you think of when you picture the perfect Caribbean dinner. You cannot bet the atmosphere! The restaurant s right on the beach, and the second night we actually ate with our feet in the sand. The food was average, had the red snapper...

We enjoyed this place immediately due to the setting. If you have the forethought to make a reservation, you may get lucky enough to sit at one of the tables on the beach. That's right--you can sit at a table that is in the sand, next to the water. Ours was a spontaneous visit, so we didn't get a table...

If not for the lousy service, I would have bumped this up to 4 circles. The location is terrific, you can get a table on the beach, and I mean in the sand on the beach under the stars. It is so relaxing. My wife and I had a good dinner, very good local seafood. Good wine, decent prices for...

A true beach bar sit in the sand and eat some better than average food. Found this place our last night wish I done so sooner. Perfect happy hour place to watch the sunset and have a few drinks.
At first glance, Pirate Bay looks like a misplaced Jimmy Buffet restaurant. Then you realize that all the beach props are real, and you're actually sitting at a table on the actual beach with the actual Caribbean frickin' ocean fifty feet away from you. Nothing's going to beat the atmosphere at this place.
On top of that, the food is...

Despite reading the reviews prior to the visit we still elected to go. I have to say I was surprised in a good way. My wife had the chicken pasta and key lime pie which was really good. I had the red snapper which was good. I also had a Caramel turtle barista frio, which was gone in a minute....
