Beautiful place, but unfortunately the service and food are very poor. The piñas coladas are ok, but I expected more from them. Disappointing.

We took two university students to dinner at Atelier and were seated on the rooftop patio. All 4 of us had wonderful meals starting with great apps (white asparages to "die" for), fresh lobster cooked to perfection and the best flan ever for dessert. The servers were very attentive to our needs without "hovering" Altogether a wonderful meal and a...

I highly recommend the Atelier Paladar. Try to get a table on the terrace, if possible. We were a group of 10 and everyone loved their dinners. The meals were delicious, interesting, prepared beautifully, and the staff was great. Excellent !
We went to this exquisite Paladar (privately owned and run restaurant) on our first night in Habana. It was definitely the best restaurant we experienced during our entire two-week trip to Cuba. Having been in Cuba one year previously, I was stunned at how much better this place is than the other restaurants at which I had eaten, both State-run...

Rooftop dining in a beautiful old home in Vedado. The décor is a beautiful combination of contemporary and antique. The dishes and silverware are antique. Quite a charming combination. Good and reasonably priced wine list. I wish the food matched up to the ambience. It was good but not great, underseasoned and overcooked for the most part. But on balance...

We had to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to the rooftop, but it was worthwhile. The food was good and everyone enjoyed their meal. One person didn't like the fish, but most fish entrees will disappoint in Havana restaurants. The entrees came with beans, rice and vegetables. The salads were particularly good.
We had really excellent food--shrimp with parsley and garlic sauce, steak--and superb service at the Atelier. A restaurant and food a cut above any other we had in Cuba.
This beautiful old home in Havana makes for a great evening meal. We ate in the dining room as it was cool that evening though the terrace looked lovely! Loved the atmosphere, like at a dinner party in someone's home with the antique furniture and china. For Cuba, the food was good. I thought the asparagus from a jar, probably...

Atelier is located in a beautiful old house. The food was very good and reasonably priced. I had a grilled fish filet topped with shrimp in a blue cheese sauce that was delicious. For a small paladar, the menu had a lot of variety, and there was a good wine list. Unfortunately, we dined on a night that was cold...

Eating experiences vary across the board in Havana and when its great, its great and likewise bad is awful.
This was a great experience that was shared equally by the five people dining that night. They made up a combination of appetizers that were very nice.
The wine selections were good and not expensive.
The Entrees were all very well...
