This restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and the best location in front of Malecon in Havana. I dined downstairs in the more casual room. The service was excellent and the food delicious and plentiful. You must try the tamal en cazuela!

While there are many good sites owned restaurants in Havana, many of them suffer from inconsistent quality . Castropol distinguishes themselves in this arena . I have dined here at least 15 times and the food is always good. Downstairs is a more informal menu Upstairs is 100% gourmet and the experience is always excellent

Nice Restaurant in malecon, a wide selection of meals, shrimps and langusta were excellent. Not one of this places overcrowded with tourists, rather an intimate place to have a great dinner.

Just two blocks west of Paseo Marti, it is well worth the visit. Twice enjoyed marvellous pizza for lunch on the main floor in a relaxed atmosphere. We had dinner at Castropol twice and would have gone back again but we ran out of time, Great food and excellent service. Eat in the balcony upstairs for the soft breeze and the incredible view of the Malecon. We ate well in Havana and this place was our favorite so that says a lot!

On the top floor of this charming building there is a nice BBQ meat restaruante that is highly recommended for good creole BBQ food. As ever there is live music present, but good, and not intrusive.

As the title says. Lovely service and setting. Everything very tasty and child friendly. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff .
