Be clear this is at the cafe end if the restaurant spectrum. if Herr Winner saw it he would probably expire before he entered the place. It is hard to find which at night is a little disconcerting driving through the unlit cane fields. It shares it's space with what I can only describe as the local Spa convinience store... More

Really great ribs and a fun atmosphere if you don't expect too much. Not fancy; you may off your plastic chair. If you are fussy...do not go here please! This is really a local place and should stay as such. Getting here is hard and if you have had too many you should be very careful driving back to your... More

Very rustic with an amazing atmosphere. Limited on space which may mean you are seated at a table half the size it should be, but that is half the fun at Chris' Place. Famous for their ribs, but fish is excellent too. I always visit this place when staying on Barbados

Great place to eat and chat with the locals from the village. Basic bar/restaurant run by Chris, the ribs are great especially on Friday nights need to book the day before if you want to eat them. Need a cab or a car to get there but pure Bajan experience and non touristy. Loved it.

If your looking to be fussed over and have your wallet/purse pampered to here then forget it, Chris' place is far removed from Nushi, Tides or Lonestar, but the place makes up for all that fuss with sheer atmosphere and the best ribs that I've ever tasted. From walking in under the porch, past rammed tables of happy laughing people... More

Brilliant as Friday ribs night is, the best thing about Chris' place is lunchtime. A fiver (£) gets you a lovely bajan lunch, a couple of Banks and time to just relax and watch the local bus drivers, police etc stop for lunch, a chat and go. A must go place...............

Off the beaten track a little , but a great place to mix with locals and other holiday makers alike. No thrills, just good Bajan food at Bajan prices. Perhaps Angry Annie from Holetown should wander up the hill to see how a vibe can be created. Ribs are sticky to die for, great chicken, and rum by the bottle.... More

This rum shack is fast getting a reputation for extraordinary ribs on a Friday night. There are other things on the menu but the ribs are well worth the trip. Also has a female DJ who plays great songs all night. Great atmosphere where you might hear locals arguing over cricket or some other vitally important point! Scarves from local... More
