A wonderful fresh fish dinner . Great service very good food and drink . A very nice friendly relaxing casual dinner
Food was good and we had the early bird 3 course meal for about 26 US. Choices included Blackened shrimp, shrimp linguine, Amber Jack or Filet Mignon. Very nice food. Wine (house by the glass) was warm and almost hot. Everywhere else on the island we had cellar temp red ( from wine frig). Décor was authentic and interesting, waitress... More
Lovely place, fresh food, good service and value! Ask for their daily special and get appetizer, meal and dessert at a great price.
We went there twice. Once, just my husband and myself. The special menu they offer, although some reviews did not like it, we found the food to be very good. It is $25.95 for 3 courses. You sometimes have to ask for that menu. They offer catch of the day and my husband was thrilled when they had the barracuda.... More
When we first sat down, it took a long time for someone to greet us at our table. Additionally, it took even longer for someone to take our order and bring our drinks. I recommend you request the "special menu" which includes 3 courses at a fixed price, since they will not say anything about it. The food was decent... More
Went to try out for the second time after more than 15 years one of the most talked about Seafood restaurant. We did I not have any reservation but managed to get a table. We ordered their special and thought it was a good value, however the food was very disappointing. We specifically asked the waiter if their shrimps were... More
My husband and I stayed at the Renaissance and decided to eat at the Driftwood restaurant on Tuesday evening. I was excited to eat here due to reading the fish are caught the day of. We sat down and was IGNORED for a full 15 minutes. No one stopped by our table to welcome us and get our drink order.... More
My husband and I stayed at Renaissance Aruba where Driftwood was nearby. Food there was OK - no better or no worse than other seafood restaurants on the island; it was the wait staff's attitude that made us not want to go back ever again. The restaurant personnel were cold and stiff, and seemed very unhappy. We heard a waiter... More
Well this year we went fishing on the Driftwood great morning at sea! We caught Maui Maui That night we returned to the restaurant where the chef prepared the fish five separate ways…with four sauces….the restaurant fee was nominal to cover costs and side dishes… ...We had enough leftovers for another meal All and all it was an adventure and... Driftwood has good Aruban seafood. Service was fair, but they were slammed with customers. The price a bit high for the island. Sangria was pretty good. Not the place for a romantic dinner, just good fish.
