Our family have enjoyed the rich flavors in this country. Salitres was a quiet relaxing location with above average scenery but average food. total meal with drinks was about $100. Open all days but Monday it's a low key and Romantic spot if you didnt bring the kids.

This was our first visit to Salitre and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was an excellent host making sure we knew the availability level of freshly caught fish. She was also very good taking our orders and keeping us appraise of times of delivery of the food - which unfortunately took way too long for such a good place.... More

It was a little while ago but I still remember how great it was. The food was recommended by the waitress and it was perfect! We really enjoyed it. It is kind of expensive but worth it.

What a great ambience! Our food was delicious...we ordered the red snapper and 2 different shrimps, the battered and cream garlic and it was delicious! The sauteed vegetables and asparagus were also delicious! The service was fantastic and the owner, Luiz, was very socialable and was visiting every table!

This was my sixth visit to Salitre and each time I visit PR I travel to Arecibo to samle the great food at this restaurant.... There empanadas are baked and the best in puerto rico....the coconut cheese flan is worth the trip alone!!! A the view and wait staff also get five stars! Salitre has never dissapointed me...I can't wait... More
