Excellent food. Very good service. Good wines and goodies. Reasonable prices. We were a bit disapointed by the surrounding landsacpe that has nothing exceptionnal. Just a country house. Also this is a bit far from Blois so you have to be motivated to drive till there but the reward is worth it.

Absolutely authentic French country side dining experience, with a price you cant find anywhere else in the world! By far this would be one of the best meals we ate in Amboise, infact France....great atmosphere, wonderful cheeky service from Sophie and the food was lovely...this is what we felt was 'real french cooking, and gave us a real buzz.....thought the prices were on par with other places in Amboise....give it a go

This is a lovely place for a leisurely meal in a beautiful setting. Everything was freshly prepared and of excellent quality, with very fair prices. There is a good wine list, with some half bottles, too. Next to the restaurant there are 4 or 5 gites under the same (gracious) ownership.
